Cierra Andrea Gladden is a writer and filmmaker currently living and working in Los Angeles, CA.

With her roots in Baltimore, MD, Cierra’s creative pursuits are driven by a deep love for scripted fiction that delves into the essence of the human condition, particularly within the many intersections of her identity.

Recently, Cierra made her short film directorial debut, SUNDOWN, a project made possible by generous grants from Johns Hopkins University and Studio North. Cierra's involvement in the local film community is robust, having notably served as Production Manager on Katiana Weems' GENERAL MAINTENANCE under the Saul Zaentz Innovation Fellowship.

Beyond the camera's lens, Cierra immerses herself in furthering her knowledge of film and photography, dedicating time to journaling, collaborating with her peers on various film projects, and attempting to tackle her ever-growing TV watchlist.

Most recently, Cierra produced two Studio North shorts, RED PRIOR and COCAINE TO LONDON, which premiered at the historic SNF Parkway Theater in Baltimore, MD April 2024.

Cierra is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University where she studied Film and Media Studies along with Entrepreneurship and Management.
